Dr Lee Jones is a general practitioner and Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, with additional training in skin cancer medicine, dermoscopy, skin cancer surgery and aesthetic medicine.

His clinical interests include the assessment and management of melanoma and other skin cancers, as well as common skin conditions such as acne and psoriasis. He has previously worked as a GP with a special interest in dermatology at Cairns Hospital.

At Yorkeys Medical, Lee offers skin checks, general practice consults and consultations for skin concerns. He is also a co-founder of Northern Skin Doctors.
Lee is known for taking the time to listen, explain things clearly and work with you to create a plan that suits your skin health needs and goals.
Beyond the
consulting room
Lee lives in Far North Queensland with his family and is passionate about the region. He is committed to ongoing learning, with a particular interest in how artificial intelligence can support clinicians and improve patient care.
Outside work, Lee enjoys time with his family, staying active and travelling, particularly around Far North Queensland.
